On Sunday, September 29th, 2019, Building Peaceful Families, in coordination with Nextdoor Solutions to Domestic Violence, hosted the 4th Annual Still I Rise Phenomenal Women’s Awards Luncheon. This inspirational event brings together women from diverse backgrounds to celebrate the power and resiliency of all women.

THE AWARD

This award is given to two groups of exceptional women: those who have faced challenges, overcome adversities, but "just like hopes springing high" they still rise to live a life of resiliency, respect, and success; and to those extraordinary women who, through their lifetime efforts, have worked diligently to support issues important to women and girls.  This annual luncheon is to recognize, honor, celebrate, and thank these unsung heroes.
