For many years, Building Peaceful Families, in partnership with the Santa Clara County Office of Education, has celebrated the Top Dads and Top Community Dads by honoring them at a very special luncheon.

 

The Top Dads Essay Contest motivates kids ages 5 to 17 to express in writing how much they appreciate the support and encouragement they receive from their dads or father figures.  Every young writer who submits an essay receives a Certificate of Appreciation.  This year, 36 winners and their dads were honored at a special luncheon on June 23rd.

The Silicon Valley Fatherhood Hall of Fame Award recognizes men who are role models not only because of their commitment to raising their own children, but also because of their dedication and efforts within their community. On June 23rd, each father selected for this prestigious award received a Certificate of Excellence and was inducted into the Silicon Valley Fatherhood Hall of Fame. They were also honored guests at the Top Dads Award Luncheon.
