Priscilla Joyce

Director of Marketing

Communications

As the Marketing and Communications Director for Building Peaceful Families, Priscilla is responsible for the consistency and quality of BPF’s message and brand.  During her professional career, she worked across such diverse industries as finance, high tech, and talent management.  In these roles, she has been responsible for leading re-branding efforts; working with teams in response to both government and private RFPs; creating and editing newsletters, presentations, and marketing collateral; website redesign and management; and trade show and event management.

While employed with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in the early 1990’s, Priscilla created a Science Saturday program to offer high school students a hands-on introduction to physics.  She coordinated the program, and worked with physicist colleagues to create the curriculum.  In addition to corporate support, the program received a $5,000 grant from NASA.  Priscilla also spearheaded an exchange program between SAIC and James Madison University; and created and coordinated a program for local high school students honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Priscilla is retired and lives in San Jose with her two cats, Ella and Billie.  She enjoys having the time to be an integral member of the BPF team, staying physically active with the Red Power Divas, and spending more time with her amazing grandchildren.
