Ha-Thanh Ho had been volunteering with Building Peaceful Families since 2004, before becoming an official board member in July 2018. In her professional life, she serves as a Deputy Probation Officer for the County of Santa Clara serving in the Mental Health unit. In this assignment, she works with every department, including judges, attorneys, and community-based providers, to ensure the safety of her clients and the safety of her community.

​Ha-Thanh also volunteered with the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps as an administrative officer and was recognized as Officer of the Year for her contribution to service, commitment and dedication to the program.
